We spent one night in Apartment 14 and immediately asked to be moved as it did not at all reflect the pictures advertised on Expedia. We travel quite a bit, and paying $145 CAD to stay in an “apartment” like that made no sense. It was old, the pillows were stained and musty, there was what looked like chicken wire on the windows, and there were duck decorations on some sort of roof hanging over the bed.
The second apartment we were given was better, but overall the property really needs a revamp. The pillows are old, there was only one thin sheet on the bed, no mattress cover, and the dishes were outdated. There were also mosquitoes or flies, as I was bitten several times. Do not leave any food on the counters — when we turned on the kitchen light at night, we saw cockroaches.
The pool area is nice, but we didn’t use the pool since there are many beautiful beaches nearby.
Tanja and the staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the property itself needs updating.
