"The building is incredible, and a great place to stay in the city - quiet, comfortable, and very close to everything downtown. Staff were warm and friendly, the facilities were very clean, the bed was comfortable. They have a deal worked out with a lovely cafe a couple blocks away so you can get a discount on meals and drinks there. The only walkable groceries are convenience stores/bodegas, but I expected that in a city. Would highly recommend, and I'll be back anytime I need to come through...

"This is an older building, but just fine. It was a 5 minute lovely walk to the Hyatt where my conference was located. I appreciated the chance to head outside and see the roses, trees, cactus garden as I walked to and fro. As others have said, there are in-window air conditioners, which allowed me to set the temperature I wanted, but meant that it took a few minutes to cool down when I got home.
