"The Harbinson House was a great place to stay for going to a show at Ace of Spades. It is in a beautiful historic neighborhood and the place itself is a quirky historic home. I was able to walk back and forth from the venue while looking at the amazing architecture of the houses. My room had an Alice In Wonderland theme with a functioning Victorola which was really cool. "The building is incredible, and a great place to stay in the city - quiet, comfortable, and very close to everything downtown. Staff were warm and friendly, the facilities were very clean, the bed was comfortable. They have a deal worked out with a lovely cafe a couple blocks away so you can get a discount on meals and drinks there. The only walkable groceries are convenience stores/bodegas, but I expected that in a city. Would highly recommend, and I'll be back anytime I need to come through...

"Clean, quiet hotel within easy walking distance of Sutter Health Park. There is a charge to park at the property in a secure lot. Great breakfast, friendly, helpful staff. The property is in West Sacramento and much more affordable than lodging on the east side of the river. The neighborhood is not posh, but we never felt unsafe walking to baseball or the river. We had an enjoyable four night stay and would definitely stay here again."
