"Delightful stay with kind and attentive staff in an historic building. Only whinge (also mentioned elsewhere) is the automatic light that comes on in the night (as you tiptoe to the bathroom) and wakes your partner"

"What a fantastic place to stay. Clean and comfortable room, pillows like clouds and a good nights sleep. Towels a good size. Restaurant with comfortable seats. Great decor. We ate in the evening and the best steaks we had had in a long time! Our dog was given a bowl of water. The grounds are perfect for dog walking. Grass and shingle. (Beware of the rabbit/badger holes if going out at night) We didn’t eat breakfast as we’re in a hurry but it looked like a fab selection. A great location...

"A charming hotel from an older era with 2 excellent restaurants. Furnishings are a little dated and hot water takes a long time to reach the bathroom, but that just adds to it’s faded elegance."

"A truly wonderful hidden gem on the French countryside not too far away from Calais. The hosts have created a unique experience in their old farm house with a beautiful large garden even with their own hedge maze in the back garden. Pet friendly, cozy place, comfortable bed in a well equipped room with brick walls and nice decorations both in and outside. Breakfast is served in the conservatory in the main house. Chickens and ducks walk freely around. We loved it!"

"Kind welcome by Aurelia and her husband . The room was lovely and had everything that we needed for our night stay . The breakfast was special , so much of it and plenty of choice . Many thanks , I’m only sorry that I didn’t have time to look in the little boutique shop again . "

"La chambre est joliment décorée, néanmoins très froide à cette période. Le vrai problème est que le réseau wifi n’est pas prévu pour avoir autant de TV connectée donc impossible de regarder la TV à partir de 20h… ça manque d’explication dans l’ensemble. De plus j’avais pris la grande chambre (65 m2, et on m’a envoyé un sms pour me dire qu’il y avait un doublon donc j’étais censé avoir un chambre équivalente … résultat 25 m2 et pas de TV"
