"This little known gem, situated about 10 minutes from Egletons on the D16, in the delightfully rural Correze, is well worth a visit. If it’s peace, calm and tranquility you seek - this is it. Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We didn't expect too much. We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered. We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. The room smelled a bit of cigarettes and had to be aired out. The layout was complicated with steps right after the door and a seperate toilet which...

"The location was good, easy walking, parking across the street. The only issue was it was a top floor room without air-conditioning. To be fair, it was much warmer than usual in the area. "

"What a lovely place and lovely people. We slept and ate and all was perfect. Quiet and comfortable room, very clean and large enough for two. Breakfast was self service with good quality choice and produce. The restaurant was fantastic, fresh ingredients on all courses, beautifully cooked and served accompanied with a well chosen wine. "Parking was full so had to leave on the road with lots of wedding bits inside. Hotel ok but tired. Room basic. No water or tea facility. Restaurant overpriced and under whelming. I had a local dish. Local Sausage and mash. Basic sausage and mash tasted like smash. Dried potatoes. Felt a bit money grabbing. "
