"On the plus side the facility was well maintained including hotel, grounds, beach, and pool areas. Buffets at Verandah offered a multitude of choices catering to everyone's taste. Specialty meals at two of the restaurants were a very nice touch. Staff was friendly and helpful. On the negative side I wasn't pleased with the Internet options. Standard had to be renewed on a daily basis while paying extra, in this day & age, for high-speed internet at a hotel makes no sense. I found our mattress to be lumpy while my wife had no problem. We both disliked the pillows. It was like sleeping on a bag of sand. "

"We had a terrible time , the staff was not very friendly and accommodating, the day we arrived we were unable to make reservations at any of the four specialty restaurants because you can only make them once you check in and have a room, which makes no sense, this property is very outdated, we went there for my wife’s 50th birthday in the morning of her birthday. There was a cockroach on the floor so we took pictures and went downstairs to the lobby and showed them so they then made us go up and pack everything in our room on my wife’s birthday day, including all of the balloons that I had delivered, which cost me $300 and move to another room, we will never return. We are very disappointed."

"My family had an amazing time at Atlantis. The whole complex is top notch. The waterpark and pool areas were so much fun. We loved the ocean and snorkeling at Cove beach and Reef Beach. The casino was lively and the Royal itself has so much to do. The only thing that I will complain about is the food. Mediocre at best and way too expensive just not worth the heavy price. I wouldn’t mind paying if it was top notch food but just okay. The Overall experience was worth it just a beautiful Vacation."
