"This property was conveniently located but was very overpriced. The first room they gave us was terrible and not what was pictured when booked. They moved us to a better room with a balcony but it overlooked the parking lot. It didn’t appear to be busy so for what we paid a room facing the harbour would have been nice. Staff seemed friendly and we were given a treat bag upon arrival."

"The property is old. When we took a taxi there are driver said “oo this property is not good”. As we went in the lobby it was evident that it was old, breakfast included is a joke. It is basically just coffee and yoghurt. That wasn’t a big deal for us. But we sat on the sofa while waiting and it smelled like dead rat. The washroom in the lobby was dirty storage room. "Lots of junkie hanging outside the parking lot. Room smell like urine. The room is very dark and dirty. I book this place on a long weekend, Once we saw the room, we didn’t want to stay, but everything else is full. I will never come back."

"The property looks a bit aged and the washer/dryer units are very old. However, customer service was great—when our bathroom sink clogged, the gentleman at the front desk handled it immediately and moved us to another room. Appreciate the fast response!"

"The SPA was closed for the whole long weekend... even though the Hotel advertises it self as Hotel & Spa. A small microwave in the room would be good to have to warm up your coffee and croissants that you have to buy since there is no breakfast; Nespresso was a bonus! Rooms are excellent and the views from the balcony are amazing, if you have on of those rooms with balcony (not every room has it). Location is fantastic, and the park in front is awesome."

"Booked this stay for the long weekend. Happy for an escape from the city (Victoria) and kids to relax on Pender at this resort. Unfortunately between the two pool and hot tub areas neither were adult only, as tape was coving the 'adult only' amenity. Given this, there were children splashing and yelling at both pools and hot tubs negating the peaceful stay. I would not recommend this for anyone looking to relax using these amenities.
