"Great staff and a friendly welcome made my one night stay quite enjoyable. The food was great both in the evening and morning especially being sat outside on the terrace next to the River Avon which was a very pleasant experience. It was extremely hot weather during my stay and the current lack of AC made sleeping difficult especially with the large noisy room fan provided. However I understand that AC is due to be installed shortly so I wouldnt hesitate in staying at the hotel again if work...

"Lovely large room, comfy bed sand very dog friendly. Lots of parking and advantage of park and ride into Bath 10min walk away. Excellent Sunday roast and fantastic breakfast will definitely be back!"

"Overall, we had a good stay. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. The only downsides were that the parking was quite expensive, although we managed to find cheaper parking nearby, and the elevator was out of order during our stay. Apart from these minor issues, everything else was good, and we felt the hotel offered fair value. We would be happy to stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Given the age of the building and heritage listing, it is beautifully maintained and provide a peaceful setting to relax and explore. We stayed in the room with a patio overlooking a garden, which made for a lovely outlook. While the room wasn't particularly large, it was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a simple, no-frills property with basic amenities, but it delivered exactly what we were expecting....

"The hotel was a great experience, the room was clean and tidy with the staff being friendly. The breakfast was better than any of the ones we had in the town with local sausages and attentive service. Don’t forget to try a little of the salt rub in the main lounge, not sure if it’s home made or bought in but my skin felt incredible after. Would highly recommend."

"No hot water overnight or in the morning. Also no mention of this from the staff when we checked in. If we would have known we wouldn’t have stayed! It’s a basic amenity"

"Great location. Needs maintenance- air conditioning was not working properly in two of our rooms. Toilets were quite old and had a smell to them. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty."
