"The location was the BEST! Walking distance to the everything in Casco Viejo and the waterfront. Excellent (but expensive) restaurant on the rooftop. WiFi was good. Room was nicely appointed, lots of pillows, awesome A/C. "

"Room was alright. We have paid less and received more. There was an alarm for a tech room beeping all night. Can hear the people next and above us quite clearly. Lobby looks nice but room was meh. Restaurant very expensive for what you get. "

"I had a great stay at this property. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a big difference in comfort. The staff was friendly, responsive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Overall, everything was smooth and easy, and the property delivered a very comfortable experience. The hotel does feel a bit dated in some areas, and the internet in the rooms can be somewhat unstable, which could be improved. I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers and would be happy to stay here again. Location is fantastic. "

"My birthday at Hotel La Compañía was nothing short of extraordinary, and truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely spoiled by the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Every detail was so thoughtfully curated, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making my stay special. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, an elegant blend of history and luxury, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. It was the kind of space you look forward to returning to, even after a full day of exploring. One of the highlights was the incredible massage at their in-house spa, which was pure bliss and the perfect way to ease into a day of celebration. The entire experience felt indulgent, calming, and deeply restorative. What truly set this stay apart, though, were all the thoughtful touches. I arrived to find a delicious birthday cake waiting in my room, and later, while celebrating with friends at Capella Rooftop Bar, another cake appeared—completely unexpected and such a joyful moment. As if that wasn’t enough, we were treated to complimentary champagne by the pool, adding an extra sparkle to an already perfect day. Every interaction with the team felt genuine and effortless, and they managed to strike that rare balance between professionalism and heartfelt hospitality. "The breakfast buffet was good and offered a good variety of Panamanian and American food. The hotel was convenient to dining and shopping. The room was clean, quiet and had good air conditioning. The free parking was good, and might be tight for a large vehicle, but there were plenty of spaces. The neighborhood felt safe. "
