I’m attached to this neighborhood because I lived here in’87. I love being able to walk around Japan Town & Fillmore st. The hotel itself is very mellow and laid back. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Clean rooms, friendly staff & nice lobby with 24-hour free coffee station. Area around hotel is under construction but street parking was easy. Hotel also has small parking lot but was full. Very central location - would stay here again!

Convenience is great. Air conditioning in rooms doesn’t work. You have to open to sliding glass doors to get any kind of cooling. The beds are old and super uncomfortable.
