The location of this hotel is very convenient, making it easy to get around. Breakfast is simple—just coffee and a croissant—but everything else about the stay was excellent. The staff were friendly, and I would definitely recommend this hotel!
The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Located was great and the customer service was amazing at the front desk. Don’t remember their names but the were all always smiling and willing to help me out with any questions.
Good location; way walk to convention center and downtown. Quieter; good value. Older hotel. If you need everything bright and shiny, pay more and stay somewhere else. This place is clean, pleasant and comfortable.
Great hotel and amazing staff! We got a complimentary upgrade and water on arrival. The team was very friendly, helped us find food late at night, and even printed important documents in the morning. Highly recommend — will definitely come back!

The location was great. Alice, the evening desk customer service representative was exceptional with recommendations, looking up and even calling restaurants to answer my questions. She also helped me get my first Waymo. She was exceptional. Thanks!!
Excellent stay! The king room was exceptionally clean, and the staff was friendly, professional, and available 24/7. The location is perfect, walking distance to Powell and Montgomery BART stations, two blocks from the California & Grant trolley stop, and directly across from the Chinatown Dragon Gate. Can’t wait to visit The City and stay here again in September!
Everything about this place was top tier and magical. The building smelled amazing and the staff was extremely nice. Our pets enjoyed the stay as much as we did. We appreciated the dog bowls brought to our room (:
