One of the reasons we booked this hotel is because it has a pool, however, the pool is quite warm, like a bath, not just "heated" to keep it from being too cold. So if you are expecting a cool, refreshing dip at the end of a hot day, you may be disappointed. Having said that, we gave them feedback and there is a chance they will rectify the issue. I decided to make the most of it and used it at the end of each day, since the air would cool me down after getting out.
The beds and linens were super-comfortable and the general energy of the place is serene. There IS filtered water (safe to drink) available in the lobby, so that you can refill your water bottles. Not all hotels in Mexico offer this.
One thing that would improve this hotel is having a simple cafe on site, that offers coffee, juice, muffins/pastries, sandwiches/salads, wine, beer, etc.
And, finally, the rooms (or at least our room) was lacking hooks, and places to hang things. There was also insufficient lighting in the little kitchenette...which had a mini-fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker...but no plates or utensils. A few small improvements would make a big difference, in my opinion.
