"It was beautiful "

"Very clean and modern. Staff excellent and very knowledgeable of the area and restaurants. Two things I would advise, extend pool hours to at least 10pm and add a microwave to the rooms. Lastly, the partner hotel across the street isn't no where as nice as the hotel where we stayed. Looks run down and instead of promoting that hotel as a partner I see no benefit other than the beach access & beach chair & umbrella amenities. Thank you for our stay and we certainly will be back!! "I stayed at this property several times when it was an Intercontinental. This was my first time staying since it changed to a Royal Sonesta. It was just as good and did not disappoint. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The beach was beautiful and never an issue getting chairs. We only sat at the pool one afternoon when it was too windy on the beach. Food and drinks served on the beach were good and convenient. Outside bar by the lobby was really nice and enjoyable. The only negative was the lobby bar which was extremely loud and noisy. Even if you weren’t going to the bar, the sound when you walked into or through the lobby was tremendous. It’s poorly situated based on the acoustics of the lobby. Proximity to the airport (approx 10 min) is great! Situated in such a way that you don’t see or hear planes flying over, but easy to get to the airport when it’s time to leave."

"The hotel was well maintained, with friendly and exceptionally professional staff. The guest room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The location of the hotel was convenient to both Old San Juan and the Condado, while also offering excellent shopping and dining expreiences on the grounds of the resort. Keep in mind that in most of San Juan, and Puerto Rico in general, it is generally easier to get around if you can rent a car, or at least use Uber. However, the exception to this rule is Old San Juan. It's better to be prepared to walk rather than drive in that part of the city. Having said that, we were extremely pleased with the hotel and all they offered. We would definitely stay here again on future trips to San Juan."

"Our first stay at this hotel was better than expected. The property is stunning, the accommodations are top notch and the service staff is the best we’ve had so far. The water bottles are free and they bring them to your room as many as you want as many times as you want around the clock."
