We had an amazing stay! Such a fun trip with my bestie. The location is perfect—walking distance to Old San Juan. After exploring, we loved relaxing by the pool. The gated property also made us feel extra safe and secure.

We stayed 2 nights. The first night the music at the club behind the hotel was so loud the floor was vibrating and it went on until 2am. Then at 4 am the roosters started crowing and at 6 am the motorcycle and helicopter noise started. The front desk staff said if we wanted to leave and get a refund for the second day we would have to submit a form which may or may not be approved. The water kept going from scalding hot to ice cold in the shower and the loft bed is not ideal for kids, elderly, or anyone with joint issues. Also it is very hot if you are sleeping in loft. Overall a terrible experience!

It was lovely! Lots to enjoy around town. A little bit run down because of the lack of infrastructure investment but I blame that on the government corruption. The hotel was very comfortable and very spacious! Close to everything!

I paid for a 6 day stay and arrived on a Friday. I left the property early Saturday morning and did not return until late monday morning so I was gone for TWO days even though I paid for 6 days. On Tuesday, as I was leaving for breakfast I fell on the outside corridor, which was wet from the early morning hour rain but I was STILL in the property. I immediately went to the front desk as I needed a band aid because I scraped my knee and it was bleeding but I also twisted my ankle and I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was acting like it was no big deal and suggesting since I couldn't walk to go to the mountain for sight seeing but I was unable to go anywhere as my ankle started to swell up. I asked and PLEADED with the manager to give me some type of refund as I was not going to be able to go anywhere due to the pain and swelling we went back and forth because he was not trying to give me any refund. Finally he agreed to speak to his boss and they refunded me back $76 and I was paying about $100 per day. I lost TWO days as I was scheduled to leave on Thursday. This was the WORST hotel I have ever stayed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

The room was very nice like a studio apartment. They had a microwave in the main lobby/shared space with a mini fridge/freezer in room. The staff were very kind and helpful. Pool area was clean and comfortable. Location was perfectly situated between old San Juan and a local beach. Getting around was an affordable experience using Uber. Pretty much everyone spoke English but if you know some Spanish I suggest trying to use some of it to embrace the culture of Puerto Rico. I will say if you intend to use the upper bunk/sleeping area you need to be capable of climbing a ladder. My kids thought it was super cool and enjoyed the unique area. I did not have an issue with water not getting hot/warm as stated in prior reviews. You just need to let it warm up a little that’s all. We plan on visiting again and will be staying at Romeo Gay Hotel.

The hotel itself is aesthetically nice, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, there were a few things that made the stay less comfortable than expected. One major issue is that the second bed is located in a makeshift loft, which isn’t clearly mentioned in the booking description. You have to climb a fairly uncomfortable ladder to access it, which may not be ideal for everyone. We also experienced issues with the water not working for an entire day, and there was poor communication from the staff during that time. The toilet had plumbing problems as well and was unusable for two days, which was frustrating. While the property has potential, the lack of transparency and basic maintenance made the stay disappointing overall.

Fue viaje familiar para la cita del nene en Bayamón y buscamos quedarnos en un lugar para pasar el fin de semana y no nos arrepentimos de haberlo echo,el personal muy atento,habitación limpia,alrededores limpio,súper tranquilo,piscina acogedora y limpia,de verdad nos encantó,una sugerencia podrían poner un microondas pequeño nos ayudaría a los que vamos con hijos para calentar cualquier cosa y de las escaleras para subir a la cama de arriba si la hicieran más llevadera mejor aún,pero como dije es una sugerencia,pero para los huéspedes también si quieren ir a turistear lo pueden hacer y disfrutan de todo lo bello que hay en toda el area a pie no se arrepentirán
