"The property was in the best possible location, walking everywhere was so easy. The staff were helpful and the room was well maintained and cleaned every day. The air conditioning was excellent. The shower was faulty and the water cold but that didn't worry us as it was so hot! Bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast was OK - we don't have the sweet tooth as the locals seem to and so it was not to our taste but the range and quality very good."

"If you’re not renting a car, I’d strongly recommend choosing somewhere else. The hotel is far from the train station, taxis are difficult to get (especially in the evenings), and I ended up spending so much on taxis that I could have afforded a nicer hotel in Taormina or Ortigia. There are also no convenient beaches nearby. The rooms were clean, but housekeeping starts around 8 a.m. and the doors have very poor soundproofing, so I was woken every morning by noise in the corridor. Breakfast was...

Overall a great option if you want to be away from the main tourist area. It’s not walking distance to the historical centre, you will need to use taxis or rent a car."

"We have recently returned from Catania and had an incredibly stay. The staff go above and beyond, remembering our plans and leaving notes and chocolates each day which was a lovely touch. The accommodation itself is as central as you can get. It is clean, spacious and the bathroom facilities were really high spec.
