"This is a very family-friendly hotel in downtown San Luis Obispo. The property could use some updating, and a few items in the room and gym needed maintenance. That said, the staff was excellent, friendly, responsive, and very helpful. The complimentary evening drinks were also a nice bonus, and overall, we had a good stay. The main downside was the noise. "Check in experience was not good. Staff were talking about nothing pertaining to work and made us stand there. Person who checked us in was rude and short. We had requested a downstairs and employee got agitated. No amenities in room. We had to ask for dish soap and use our own paper towels. No shampoo/conditioner. No hand soap, no tissues. "The hotel provides great breakfast which is satified and healthy. I skiped it on the first day but immidaitely regret when I tried it on the 2nd day. Be aware the noisy at night, the hotel is near a bank parking lot which could be noisy at night. That's the only downside for me to stay here."
