"Clean room- no!!! The hardwood floor was so dirty our feet turned black and so did the towel outside the shower door! Mirrors hung had broken frames, and the room smelled like smoke! Staff- rude! Came knocking on our room door asking what’s going on as if we had done something wrong. Said that we were stomping and yelling, which is total false. She even threatened to call the police on us. Parking- minimal. But there was some! Air conditioning- not too powerful!"

"The Evergreen is a jewel. Small, modern, comfy and overall clean. We especially appreciated the quietness. Our bed was comfortable. They don’t offer breakfast but our room had a Nespresso machine and the lobby has one also, as well as a flavored water machine. There is also a Peet’s coffee shop right by them. "We were in to visit our Uncle for a few days who lives in San Francisco and went to the Hampton Inn in Alameda by the airport, due to how reasonable the price was vs staying in San Francisco…EXCELLENT service, amenities and even though we were near the airport, this was one of the quietest hotels we have stayed at!! The people working there were very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and well maintained. We will definitely look forward to returning."

"Great hotel to stay in when visiting the area. The price per night was very fair. The pool, hot tub, breakfast, room and room amenities were excellent. Whenever there was an issue, staff were very quick to fix. Our smoke alarm battery went into low battery mode in the middle of the night and they had someone replace the battery in under 5 min. "We had the standard room which didn't have a full view of the Marina, but we had a partial view that was still very nice. Rooms and lobby area were cozy, clean and well maintained. Appreciated that there was microwave, small fridge and coffee station; also a laundry room. Additionally we really appreciated the free parking! Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed staying at this little hotel. Only complaint would be on the second day, the bedsheets were not changed and they ran out of washcloths."
