The supervisor Mitch even went above and beyond to ensure my birthday dinner was memorable by placing a candlelight dinner in the center of the resort. "We had a great stay at Belizean Shores Resort and would definitely recommend it. The location is ideal, situated between San Pedro and Secret Beach, so both were easy to access by golf cart. It is about a 20 minute ride into town, but the area itself is much quieter and more relaxed. There are also a few good small dining spots near the property. The pool area was a highlight, with a swim-up bar, a nice hot tub, and solid happy hour deals from 3 to 5 PM daily. The staff were fantastic and very responsive, and being able to communicate via WhatsApp was super convenient. We also made use of the complimentary kayaks and rented snorkeling gear on site. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the refillable water jug that was kept stocked. Only minor downside was the AC units outside the bedroom can be loud at night, but the hotel provides ear plugs which helped. Overall, a really enjoyable and easy stay."

"The rooms are spacious and clean. It is a little loud in the mornings being right on the beach and next to a school but nothing that ear plugs couldn’t handle. I would stay here again."

"The staff was absolutely wonderful. We did not have hot water for a day or two (happens often on the island) and when we notified the staff, they were immediately responsive. Zero complaints about the hospitality overall. If you are looking for 5 star quality accommodations, you may be disappointed, but this is no shade on this operation. We are divers and the rooms were just a smidge too small for all our dive gear and suitcases/storage. For a mid-range priced resort, this was good. A/C was on point, beds were comfy. Showers are spacious. We enjoyed the pool and the employees did a wonderful job making us feel welcome, keeping the grounds clean, and helping in whatever way they could. This is one of the many reasons we continue to come back to Belize about every 6 months. We stay some place new every time we come and this was another one we checked off the list! Overall good, it was just me and my husband traveling together. Would recommend to others!"

"Las Terrazas was absolutely wonderful to stay at! The staff were so warm and welcoming, and the whole property was beautiful. They had great amenities: kayaks, stand up paddle boards, pool, beachside games… And the breakfast every morning was delicious and just what we needed to get going on our days’ adventures. They were a few miles from San Pedro proper, but we preferred it that way. It was quiet, close to Secret Beach, and the golf cart rental allowed us to access stores, restaurants, and the town easily. Would love to stay here again in the future!"
