"Swimming pool water was dirty. Room had soiled walls, rusted light fixtures, missing towel hook, broken mirror on closet door, soiled areas on sofa, vents were rusted & old, tripping hazard out in hallway due to a drain cover that appeared to be homemade & sticking up a good 1/2” from the floor, lobby furniture was worn out."

"Beware of this hotel. When I booked this hotel, I was informed the hotel offered a free breakfast and it had a hot tub. Free breakfast was main reason I booked here due to traveling on a budget. Hot tub was a bonus. Both were FALSE. No hot tub and no free breakfast. The hotel is connected to a Bennigans and was told because of that they don't offer free breakfast. You can eat at the restaurant for a fee. So, if you are traveling on a budget beware of that fact. Also, we stayed 3 nights, our room was cleaned once. Staff was friendly enough, not very helpful though. Overall very disappointed. I have stayed at other Holiday Inns and were very happy with the stay, not in this case. "

"Best hotel. The property is very clean and nice, like a newly completed building. Their pool and hot tub were great to relax and enjoy. Their breakfast was wondeful with variety additions like strawberry pancakes, everything bagel etc. There are different restaurants and other amenities nearby. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Des Moines."

"Room was very nice. The heating cooling unit was not turned on so it was a little stuffy when we opened up the door. My concern is I did the online check-in told them the time we were going to be there. We arrived 15 minutes after the time I told them, so you would think that with all this technology and wanting to know when we were going to check in that they would go to the room and get the ambient temperature set up for you to enjoy the comfort of the room and yet that was not done so little disappointed about that but our room location was perfect for our dogs to go outside to walk them. It was right next to an exit door and the room itself was very clean. Bathroom was nice. Everything else was nice."

"The place is clean and updated. I felt safe staying with my teen for 2 nights. Breakfast options were as expected. It’s tucked behind 2 car dealerships. Terre Park was close which was a great place to visit. "
