"We love staying here. It is quiet and very very clean. Love that breakfast items are out in the evenings and all night. I have diabetes and sometimes crash at odd times. There is always bananas and yogurt available for me. The town and surrounding areas are also quiet and safe for a walk."

"The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our room overlooked the pond which was very nice. Only complaint I would have was the sliding barn door style bathroom door. Parking was adequate and two nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. Coffee was very good and breakfast was as expected. The staff was very friendly at checkin and also serving the breakfast . It was a busy weekend for the hotel because of a softball tournament in the area and I would say they handled it...

"The room was huge. So much space to move around. Thank goodness for the toiletries bc we were only staying for 1 night & pack very light. The breakfast was ready before the set time, so whomever is leaving before 6am on the weekend will surely get a bite in before heading out."

"This hotel fell way short of others at this same price point. There was an odor in the hallway to our room. They had cut a flap in the carpet over electrical outlets. I tripped over that flap twice. We have stayed in rooms this size many times before. This hotel has chosen to do away with what I consider essentials. For example, there is no clothes rack with hangers for hanging garments. That has been replaced with 3 hooks. There is no towel rack in the bathroom. The towels are kept...

"The property, staff and cleanliness were amazing. The tv remote didn’t work correct in two of the three rooms we had. Don’t let the fact the property isn’t a new hotel scare you. I’d fully recommend this hotel especially for the price."

"Easy to get to"

"The Ankeny Diner delayed breakfast opening until 9am because of Father's day brunch. There were no signs or notices, and according to another guest the front desk clerk didn't even know about it, nobody at the hotel was made aware of "no breakfast" ahead of time."
