"Very disappointed with our room for the price we paid. Have stayed in many hotels over the country and our room was very small. One side of the bed was so small it was hard to get out of bed. Some of the carpet was a bit frayed round the edges We were booked fo 2 nights but only stayed for one night. Staff were great and very helpful. "Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus."

"We were expecting a well maintained, boutique hotel, sadly it was not. Although refurbished in Nov 2014, the state of our room (1) lacked maintenance. Although each was relatively minor, when 10 issues are present, then the result is a disappointment. I relayed these to the receptionist on departure, and she seemed reluctant to seriously acknowledge the problem. This summed up the general feeling of laissez-faire."
