"This hotel was a bit of a surprise. The set up looks more like a motel and we were concerned there would be noise from the parking lot but it was fine. Our room appeared recently renovated and was very well thought through & appointed. No complaints! The restaurant sits right on the river and has a wonderful breakfast so be sure to sign up for that. Lovely view & you can watch boats go by while dining. Lovely, helpful staff. We were very pleased and would be happy to stay again."

"We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,...

"Very clean room and bathroom, full length anti slip mat for the bath. Excellent tea could have done with more on the room. Hotel close to town centre and easy to find. Advise that you patk in the car park under the hotel, entrance is before the hotel car park entrance. Pool, sauna clean and relaxing environment"

"Excellent breakfast. Good location for a short stroll into Chester centre. BUT too noisy. At side of a busy railway line, lots of other noises from racecourse equipment. Had to keep windows open to keep cool but then couldn’t sleep because of noise."

"The place is beautiful and was great to be able to eat in the restaurant and have drinks in the bar. The beds were comfortable and the outside noise was minimal. I’ll be using this hotel again"
