No elevator which would have been nice to know as one of our group is still getting over surgery. Entrance is in strip mall and cost did not reflect it was not a regular hotel with bare minimum basics. "The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I had appointments at St Boniface hospital and it is walking distance to that. I was disappointed that there wasn't a microwave in the room. I had leftover from my lunch meal and I had to take it down to he front desk for them to heat. When I asked the girl why there wasn't a microwave she said that they offer 2 restaurants so she didn't see the need for microwaves. I'm not a fan of the rainhead shower which is what they have but that's just a...

"Every hotel room should take note the Mere does it right. I have high expectations for cleanliness and I was not disappointed. The storage unit is a great use of space and the two robes came in handy because the room was either freezing or too warm. That’s one of two negatives. I think the thermometer wasn’t working correctly, yes I mentioned it when I checked out. The only other complaint was the parking. Definitely not enough and the spots are very tight.we had a truck and couldn’t fit into...

The Gold service was absolutely excellent with a wonderful breakfast each day and friendly and professional Concierge. The location of the Fairmont Winnipeg is also perfect for all sorts of walking or exploring cafes, bars and restaurants in the Exchange District. Love it!"

"The staff contactd me ahead of my stay to tell me that the hotel was going to be hosting people stranded after flooding in the north of the province. This meant the hotel would be busier than usual, expecially since one elevator was under repair. I appreciated the advance notice."
