"We thought the actual view from the hotel was even better than the pictures. We heard coocoo birds and various wildlife when we out walking about. The staff was exceptionally kind and could speak English perfectly. We ate dinner one evening and had the eggplant parmigiana, which rivaled the best we had in Italy. The room were large and clean, and the location is really quiet. There are also lots of nice locations to sit alone or with other travelers and have a drink and enjoy the view. As...

"We stayed at Hotel Visconti during a heat wave in Europe. The hotel is nice and clean, a little out dated but charming. The staff and breakfast are fantastic, the only real gripe I had is the air conditioning is basically useless, we bought a 10 euro handheld fan from a street vendor that was keeping us more cool than the air conditioning. "We had a wonderful stay for one night. It was easy to find and we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant before settling in for the night. The room was clean and quiet, the shower hot and the beds very comfy. The staff were very nice and helpful too, with a delicious breakfast in the morning (great cappuccino!). Highly recommend."

"My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. Parking was very easy and free. All the staff were very good but especially the 2 people we had in the restaurant. Unfortunately I didn’t get there names. But the mature man and the lady in her late 30’s were outstanding. So much so we stayed until they started their shift the day we left. The Villa needs a little be of TLC but it is beautiful and would highly recommend it if you are in the area. 10/10 all the way. Breakfast and dinner were very good."
