"This hotel is old and in need of refurbishment. It smells old, the furniture is old. The staff is meh. Santa Maria does not have a lot of places to stay so just head up to SLO instead. "

"The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, the pool and jacuzzi were the highlights of our stay and we enjoyed it so much. Definitely will be back :)"

"The hotel is old and not taken care of. The room alarm clock was not turned off by cleaning crew. The alarm kept on waking me up. There was a stranger walking around the hotel lurking. Person next door to my room had to confront him and asked him to leave the premises. I can’t say much about the staff. The interaction was very short. For breakfast all they had was a few unpacked Danish pastries, coffee, and tea. It was worth the price. Not to mentioned, they didn’t communicate there was going to be a city event during check in time. Which blocks the entrance to the hotel. I had to be escorted by a police officer to get to the Hotel. Overall, it was disappointing and I won’t stay there again nor do I recommend it. "

"The a/c in our room was not cooling and we requested to switch rooms and we were promptly accommodated. Great staff interactions and loved the bar vibe, service, food and drinks."

"Clean room, very friendly staff, affordable and cute property. The property could be in better condition but nothing major. Main gripe were the paper thin walls. Heard our neighbors talking occasionally between 12am - 3am and kept on getting woken up. Other than that, everything was great. "
