"It is a mixed use hotel and apartment complex. Historic building that is nicely restored. Room was very nice and clean. No AC but very good window ventilation with ocean breeze."

"Very hot room, there is a portable AC unit but it did not cool the room down. The exhaust heat from the fan felt like it was overcoming the cooling power. The staff was very nice and friendly. No coffee in the room but there is a Kerig in the 6th Floor Communal Kitchen."

"It’s a timeshare type property, so it’s not like a resort. It’s also under renovation."

"When checking in with vehicle. Park right behind the building close as you can and put hazards on . Walk around to front and buzz to get in and check in. You get pass for $20 parking from them and pay there. After checking in unload all your gear and come in back door by vehicle to access room. Then drive to parking. It’s a 5 minute walk back. Kind of pain but worth it for the vibe of Venice beach the cool building."

"Positives: The hotel is in a great location, directly across from a large shopping center with several restaurants and grocery stores. It also has a nice pool and offers a decent continental breakfast. Price was good compared to others in the area, and hotel staff was nice. Negatives: The rooms are very large but extremely dated, with old worn-out furniture throughout. The window courtains had stains. The bathroom featured a pink bathtub and worn, stained linoleum flooring. We did not use the...
