"This is a nice stop for exploring the redwood forests of Henry Cowell and other State Parks nearby. It’s nestled in the redwoods in small mountain towns. It’s not walkable to other places. The lodge rooms are large and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. "

"The front Desk agent was very helpful. He gave me a free room upgrade and allowed me to check in early. He was also kind enough to let us park our car after checkout while we hung out at the boardwalk. Our room was very clean and check out was simple. "

"We chose the property because it had space available last minute for a spontaneous trip to Santa Cruz. The location was a nice short walk to downtown and several nice restaurants. The room was clean and nicely appointed. We only spent one night and did not use anything else on the property other than the room. We did notice that there were people partying and making a lot of noise. It didn't bother us because we were far enough away. I don't think anyone was supervising the property to make sure...

"There’s really nothing around the property, but downtown and the pier are a short drive. However, the hotel is remodeled, clean and safe. The owner and staff are all very nice people. I’ll go back next time. "
