"Beautiful room"

"A hotel for travelers who want a beachside vacation without feeling like a beach bum. The bed was quite comfortable; although the light switch system took some getting used to, I appreciated being able to turn on room lights from my bedside. Gjusta Bakery croissants (with rotating jam flavors!) made for a cosmopolitan breakfast, and the rooftop terrace provided a well-shaded spot to stretch out, read, and take in the beachy scenes. "Our second here this year. Staff are unusually attentive, the room and amenities were top notch and the restaurant was excellent. The swing and the pool deck cannot be neat, absolutely no complaints."

Had I known the hostel would be like this, I never would have booked three nights here. my stay, there were at least four different school groups of around 40 children or teenagers each. They used the shared kitchen in shifts, which meant it was almost always overcrowded. The only issue I had was they goofed up my bill at check out charging me for car parking when I didn’t use that service. "We had such a delightful stay at the Channel Road Inn in Santa Monica. The room, the staff, the location, and the amenities were all perfect. We felt genuinely cared for by the staff, the property had places to eat and visit in the shade outdoors, and the included breakfast was so clearly made with love. Our room was big enough for my sister and I to share, and even though the inn was clearly full we didn't hear the other guests from our room. The self-parking at no extra charge was very...
