"The place was amazing. We were sorry that we couldn’t stay there any longer. Tried to find any excuse to stay. We had booked wine tasting and it was great. We had a private wine tasting in the winery because there were no other reservations. Pool area was great and breakfast as well. Hope to return there some day!"

The only downside is the hotel only has 2 restaurants that offer diner and they alternate on which night they are opened, you also need reservations in advance and even then tables with a view are not guaranteed. "Hotel David was on of our favorite hotels during our recent trip to Italy. The property is charming, clean, and the hotel staff are wonderful! We enjoyed breakfast every morning out on the terrace as well as a wonderful complimentary happy hour. It was a bit of a walk to the main area in Florence, but we enjoy walking when we are traveling so this was not a downside for us, but just a heads up if you want to stay right in the action.
