"This hotel was beautiful, clean, and very quaint. The property was gorgeous overlooking Duoro valley with an amazing infinity pool. However, there were no food options or winery tours available when we were there? Not sure if this is normally how it is, but we always had to drive somewhere else to do anything. If you’re looking for a hotel that you can remain on the property then I don’t recommend this one, but if you’re looking for a quiet hotel and are okay with driving for tours/food then...

"This is a nice boutique hotel in the center city of Lamaga. The room was large, clean, nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't avail ourselves of the spa tub in the room but it is certainly a nice feature. The rooftop pool is inviting and there is an adjacent bar/lounge area. "Our stay at Quinta Da Marka was exceptional. This centuries-old vineyard overlooks the Douro River, with sweeping views in every direction. The accommodations are a newer addition and include seven comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Guests can also enjoy the pool, scenic river-view terraces, and walking paths through the vineyard. I made multiple attempts trying to get to the hotel through different roads and all ended up being closed at a some point. The sun went down and it was very dark. "Tolles Hotel mit wunderbarer Aussicht rundherum in die Weinberge, allerdings nicht auf den Douro. Sehr ruhige Lage mit Anfahrt über schmale, zum Teil sehr steile mit Schotter bedeckte Wege. Freundliches und engagiertes Personal. Danke auch an das Housekeeping. Top Service der Bar bis zum Pool. Badetücher werden zur Verfügung gestellt.
