The hotel is amongst the best we've stayed in. The room is comfortable with great views over the gardens. The food is good, but what makes the hotel outstanding is the service from the staff. They are very friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble and you are always greeted with a smile. The hotel has a unique thermal pool with a constant 35-40oC temperature. The hotel provide robes and towels to use at the pool, which is just as well as the iron rich water stains everything...

We were greeted by a friendly lady behind the desk who showed us up to our room. The room was a generous size and modernly decorated with a king size bed with big soft cushions. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat. The bathroom was excellent - I loved the shower and the shower gels and lotions provided (GreenPark) ! The spa facilities were very clean and free to use as a resident, towels and robes provided. Extra treatments (massages etc) were quite expensive. Breakfast was...

Staff were really helpful. When we were allocated a different room to the one we booked they changed it immediately. It was also my 60 birthday while I was there. My husband arranged a meal for me . They went all out to make it special for me and also made me a lovely cake. The location is wonderful with stunning views. An excellent hotel can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Hi everyone. This hotel is located in the north of the island and easily accessible from the capital, Ponta Delgada in 20 min by car mostly in a motorway. Its right on the coast with a beach a few meters away. There's nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Its clean, friendly and full of the right amenities for a place with this classification. The staff is nothing short of superb! Around the area there are a few restaurants to choose from, and i particularly recommend Alabote. Now, if you...

Very clean, comfortable and stylish accommodation in a beautiful location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was someone there to welcome us even though we didn't arrive until close to midnight. Highly recommended.

Wonderful holiday with lots of hikes around lakes and along beautiful trails to waterfalls. We loved the hotel. Our suite was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and great bath. We had enough space to do yoga each morning. The staff were very pleasant and helpful providing information about hikes and tourism. Marcia was an absolute gem and looked after us so well. Beautiful island and a relaxing weeks holiday.

It was a lovely place to stay with stunning views and very welcoming staff.

The apartment was really nice, clean, modern and spacious for 4 of us. The air con was good and kept us cool and we got great WiFi signal. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with reduced mobility, our room did not have a balcony which we definitely missed. But you can probably be specific on your booking if you want one. The pool provided beautiful views and wasn't cold. The larger pool is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and pretty bare, there are loungers but no options for shade. It looks as...

Was windy and rainy not possible to use the pool. Breakfast was good

Villa had all you could want, ingenious design . Very helpful staff who went out of their way to help in any way - good tourist info , and the restaurant was excellent. Trying very hard to make this new venture a success- they deserve it! Location great for the long sandy beach and wave watching.

Excellent stay, friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable.

What a fantastic hotel. Situated in the heart of the city making it easy to navigate. Pedro and his staff cannot be more helpful, always with a smile and genuinely interested in making sure you get the most from your stay. The breakfast was wonderful, I cannot tell you much about the selection as on the 1st morning I had the Eggs Benedict, then the second day etc etc, that's how good they were. The pool has a wonderful serene feel to it and we were lucky to have it to ourselves. If you are...

Great spa and gym. Very clean

Nice room with a balcony and a good bed, clean en suite. Minimal kitchen facilities but a washer/dryer. Great value and a good location with free parking.

Lovely hotel with both character and excellent amenities. Great location looking over the sea and a stone’s throw from the restaurants and shops. Parking was 10 euros for the night, but that gave us a place in a secure car park just round the corner from the hotel entrance.
