The hillcrest is ace!

You won’t go wrong here, lynn & Tony are fantastic hosts and really welcoming. Perfect spot for the open air theatre (about 10 min walk) and the awesome Alpamare water park (about 15-20 min walk). Plenty of parking so ditch the car and take the open top bus into Scarborough or spend the afternoon at the lovely Peasholm Park (5 min walk). 9.5 out of 10 from us, would have been a 10 out of 10 if breakfast was served a little later (after 9am) on a weekend.

A Little Jewel....

Very well placed B/B...limited parking on site. If parking on one of the roads nearby the owners provide you with a disc. Near to lovely Peasholm Park and seafront. Very convenient for the Open Air Theatre as well. Bedroom was comfortable although a little snug and a large bathroom- excellent shower. Great cooked breakfast. Tony and Lynn couldn't do enough for you...

close to all we wanted to see, very good impression of the hotel (guest house) food very good very impressed with the hospitality shown by the owners. could have done with oxygen in getting to our room. wouldent hesitate to stop there in the future. Must say would not ask the host to recommend taxis or such arrangements but at least it gave us all a laugh!

My stay at the Hillcrest

The Room was very well Furnished the bed comfortable the décor pleasing. Only slight down side was the small On Suite but everything in there was to hand and of a good standard. The breakfast was very good with plenty choice. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Would certainly stay there again when back in Scarborough.

Great hotel great location

Booked an overnight stay with my daughter. Excellent location at the top of peasholm park. Breakfast was lovely and the owners very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely B&B run by a very accommodating couple, who left me out breakfast in the fridge as I am a student nurse starting shift at 7. Very reasonably priced, with minimal noise so a good nights sleep was had. Have booked to stay again in return visits.

Little gem!

Lovely little place. Couple who run it couldn't do enough to accommodate you. Nice, comfortable bed and within throwing distance of the beach. Great location, not being on the main road, meant a quiet, great nights sleep! Free full English breakfast inclusive of the price that was very reasonable. Highly recommended! Would and may, happily return!

Very pleasant stay

Delightful private hotel well placed for the North Bay and Scarborough's lovely parks. Thoughtful extra touches, such as fresh milk for in-room tea, all made for a very pleasant stay.

Loved this B & B

Wonderful hosts. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed and nice view. Room was smallish but still had a small seating area with 2 chairs and tea making things making it very comfortable and cozy. Shower is very small but had great pressure. Close to good restaurants and just around the corner is a superb fish and chip shop. Breakfast cooked to order and very tasty.

Outstanding

I stayed with my young daughter. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty, nothing was too much! We loved the location which was near to all the main sites and good parking facilities in front of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we shall be going back again and again!
