When we checked in, we were offered a second floor room. I asked about elevator and to my surprise this property has no elevators. YES, A MARRIOTT WITH NO ELEVATOR! I asked for a main floor and there were none, hmm, it seems if you are in the know, you check in early and get a main floor. We were on a 10 day trip, large heavy bags. No offer was a made to accommodate or assist with bags. So at my age, a little older, I lugged bags up odd and uncomfortable concrete steps. All this for a Marriott. Not a Motel 6 or less. Room itself was clean and nice, however, my ran out of hot water on a bath. How is that possible in 2025, she was not even using that much but it was late morning, want a hot shower, go early! Then there is the door knob, almost impossible to open and clear the door frame. Once we were shut inside and had to work, wiggle and life on the door handle to get out. Mentioned this to the desk and were told this happens with the warmer weather (really this is Seattle weather at 70 degrees) such an insulting dodge. The lock or locks need attention and the proper try manager needs to address not give the front desk a “weather excuse” I would recommend that Marriott dropped this property, it clearly does not represent the Marriott Brand well. Clearly this is a busy location and why do they need to address simple maintenance or issues like no elevator or Bell Man service.
On a separate note, the dumpsters doors are propped open???
