"We were allocated a disabled room. We booked a standard room 3 months prior, but this was all that was available. We felt uncomfortable because the room was set up for people with disabilities. It had a low bed, low sink, a seat attached in the shower, loads of safety hand holds and alarm cords everywhere in case of emergency. We felt like we were in a hospital and did not feel like we were in a nice hotel. It was very disappointing and we did not enjoy it. "

"We had a problem our first night with the shower. The staff were so friendly, helpful and apologetic. Unfortunately they couldn’t fix it and they didn’t have the same or similar room available to move to that would have enough space for all of us…so they put aside a room just two doors down for us to use for showers. Not ideal but they were so accommodating that it really was no issue! Would definitely recommend to stay here if you will be in Southampton for a few nights. Staff is excellent,...

"A great place if you wana drive down the night before your cruise as its close to the terminal! Nice freindly staff, food exellent! The room was basic but clean as was the bathroom. We where in a downstairs room so we had noisy upstairs occupants so when they walked across the room you could hear the footsteps and floorboards creaking! Fire alarm went off in the early hours but that cant be helped! Not a bad stay and i would stay there again. Highly recommend the fish&chips👌"
