Reception guy was friendly and helpful. Suggested places to eat and areas to explore. Hotel is not modern or spacious, but has character and a nice change from the usual chain hotels."

"Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. The wildlife is incredible (I’ve never heard an all-night frog chorus before and the deer roam freely through the meadows). "This property was a real unique find and was set in such a tranquil area. Beautiful, large, bedroom and bathroom all well furnished. A bonus was the swimming pool and gardens to relax in. Definitely worth a visit and the owners were charming and welcoming. "
