"This was the best stay in our entire trip of Iceland! Alina was an amazing host, very attentive and welcomed us in. She made sure we had all necessities taken care of. They had the option to have a true Viking experience with tasting and option to view all the horses on property. The horses did come right to the edge of the cabins and were able to wake up to them. Very very clean, warm cabin with amenities included. Will 100% be back!"

"We stayed here for one night in April 2026. Though we did not partake in any outdoor adventures with the company, they all looked exciting. We did eat dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and were very happy with the quality of the food. What makes Midgard Base Camp stand out for lodging is the lobby area with its different seating areas and seating choices. There is a laundry facility (reasonably priced) which was super helpful, and they offer drying systems for shoes, coats, and bathing...
