"Room was lovely and clean. Bathroom tired but clean and lovely shower. Room was warm but fan provided. Every member of staff we met was friendly and interested in our queries/ keen to help Parking very busy at times and we had to park in a place that wasnt a proper space, though staff said it was fine to park there. Good choice at breakfast, all tasty including good scrambled egg!! My third stay here and above has been consistent for each visit."

"A really well renovated period feature pub with modern rooms. Friendly staff, bed was v comfortable, bathroom was nicely fitted out. Only thing I would say is the shower needed a shelf to put your bottles on. We found a parking spot outside on the street so happy days!"

"The hotel is very convenient for the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, and has potential for a perfect maritime theme. Unfortunately they are decorating at the moment and it has none of the atmosphere it should have."
