"Cleanliness let it down, ants in microwave and bench top, cleaner turned our wall heater off before we returned, so room was cold. Very noisy as next to main road."

"In the middle of the nite there are lots of police car sirens, some drunks talk loudly, and the worst was a couple of drunks fighting loudly and involve police. It was weekend nite though.."

"Our major problem was a that the property uses a lockbox for the key card. There is a phone number to call for problems but many travel phone plans do not have voice access - only data. So we could only communicate through the expedia messaging app without any clear signals that these messages would even be read or that we could access the property that night. Ultimately - over about an hour - things worked out but it was a very frustrating experience. Having said that the property was lovely...

"Beautiful room. Felt like we were staying in a condo! Loved how close it was to the market and beautiful walks at the Botanical gardens. If we come back to Christchurch will be staying here for sure!!"
