The hotel was old, far different from the pictures on website. Found spider web in all corridor lights, all the way to bathroom lights. Moved bed aside to pick up dropped items and found nightmare of dust and dead roaches. Requested some cutleries and sauce (kecap manis) from the hotel and never heard anything back from the staff ever. Safe to say, I wont be going back to this hotel.

Nice staff but communication difficulties
The airport pickup I arranged the previous day never showed up and they seemed to not even remember talking to me. Also, same day laundry does NOT mean same day, which gave me difficulties. The food in the restaurant was delicious! The room clean. The staff friendly and helpful, aside from communication difficulties.

Great setting, run down hotel.
I wanted to try this hotel based on location. Beautiful setting away from hustle of Indonesia never ending traffic. Unfortunately towels were thread born, no hair dryer, soiled upholstery, bad lighting. I rate it mid level that needs updates. Not luxury. Staff was nice but spoke little English. I go to Semerang for business but try to sneak in some leisure down time. This was not the place for me.

C-M stains on bed sheets
So we arrived, checked in and had a shower to go out and look at the city and surrounds. Got back and went to get into bed, and found stains and hair mixed together stuck to the sheets. After trying to use the room phone to call reception we went down to find they were chatting and had the phone off the hook sitting on the desk. Staff offered to change the sheets, we suggested to change the room. Very disappointed with this.

Hotel staff was very polite and accommodating. Late check out was not a problem. I vacated my room at 17.30 without any extra charge. Restaurant needs a bit of attention and few more dishes need to added to room service menu. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and going back in September.

I was not convenient with products such as soap, shampoo and conditioner, they smelt bad. The water in the shower and washbasin was stuck, I am also disappointed with the cleanliness of the bath room.
