"Staff was very nice and accommodating. I like that the receptionist / property manager gentleman would walk up to cars to make sure there they were actual guests and there for reason. "Free breakfast everyday, both including typical Costa Rican breakfasts, as well as pancakes for those who prefer a breakfast from home. The thermal springs were the best!! Especially the swim up bar (helps save money on commuting to other thermal springs as well as the entrance fee) Staff were wonderful! Sweet and helpful at recommending restaurants and activities:) Transportation from the airport to hotel was $225, so great to split between 5 people."

"Clean, nice staff overall, felt safe, beautiful hot springs and spa. Very dim lighting on path to rooms at night. My only complaint is that they are trying to charge me for a third person when only two of us stayed here, checked in, and confirmed with staff at check-in. Staff not being very helpful with refunding for the non-existent third person. Disappointing to my trip because I really did like this place, but probably won’t stay here again because of this. "Stunning views from restaurant and room across as far as lake Arenal. All the food offerings were fantastic from breakfast to evening meals using home grown and home made items. Regular supply of wildlife to keep you entertained. Only slight negative was a reasonably long walk up a steep hill to get to the nearest shops etc but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also be aware there is no A/C in the rooms if you are as lucky as we were with the weather."
