"We were at the 3rd floor, so we didnt have a good view, but the rooftop garden view was pretty good. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was tasty and the location really good. Everything was as it should! :) "

Clean room, very comfortable bed (the pillows were amazing), bottles of water provided every day, tea and coffee in the room. Great selection at breakfast for both Asian and Western tastes. All staff were really friendly. The only improvement for me would be to speedup the elevator..... it takes ages to arrive."

"The Grand Hyatt Seoul has a fantastic location above Itaewon with beautiful views, and that's about all it has going for it. The service was among the worst I have experienced at a hotel in this category. I repeatedly asked for housekeeping and no one ever came. Turndown service simply doesn't exist here. For a property charging luxury rates, these are basics, not extras. Credit where it's due: a manager kindly moved me to a renovated room, which was a welcome gesture, and breakfast was decent enough. But one helpful staff member cannot make up for a hotel that seems indifferent to its guests. If you are considering the Grand Hyatt for a Seoul trip, I would strongly recommend the Four Seasons instead — comparable location in old Seoul, and they actually understand what service means."
