"Facility was well-kept and rooms were great. Washer inside the unit was a huge plus. Hallway carpets could use cleaning as there was a noticeable odor at all times. Property is confidently located in Seoul proper, but lots of construction going on adjacent to property."

"This is our second stay at the Andaz in Gangnam in the past eight months. Previously, we were there for Christmas. Of course it’s a totally different vibe in the summer. However, we thoroughly enjoyed it. This hotel has the most helpful and pleasant staff anywhere. The facility is beautiful and in great condition. The amenities are probably among the best. However, we continue to choose this hotel because of its very central location in Seoul. Virtually anywhere you want to be is less than a half hour subway ride away. The Apgujeong neighborhood is the most convenient, walkable, and upscale part of Seoul."

"That was my another Toyoko stay. Compare to others that was not the best. Breakfast was OK but the room was not clean, hair was everywhere. Bed was comfortable, bigger then other hotels offered."

"I love the shilla! Beautiful hotel and wonderful service. Enjoyed all my meals at their in-house restaurants. My only disappointment is their offer of shilla shuttle to the myeong-do area -- they don't actually have it. They said they sometimes do not offer the service...no guarantee. Why offer this service on the hotel description if the hotel doesn't guarantee it. No one could explain it to me."

"Solid hotel if you want to be in the action of one of Seoul’s hottest neighborhoods. Rooms are very small, not a lot of amenities, and during my stay there was construction on a neighboring property that impacted access to the front door at times. The location is excellent to be close to metro, shops, restaurants. I only interacted with hotel staff at check-in, so if you’re a foreigner and are hoping for a concierge experience this isn’t the spot. Air conditioning was strong and value for money was overall pretty good."

"This was my first time in Korea and I didn’t know the language when I arrived so I was super intimidated. Upon arrival, the staff were so kind and helpful. They gave me a tour of the building and helped me with my luggage. I loved how clean everything was and it smelled lovely. Although the rooms are small, they’re very efficiently laid out. I went to a friend’s air bnb in Hongdae and I actually felt so much more cozy at Stay Yeoyu. I also wanted to note that staying in this location was really helpful. It was a quiet neighborhood surrounded by convenience stores and various coffee shops. I built a routine right away for the start of my day and would head to Wangsimi Station after my coffee at Compose. I genuinely was so bummed when I had to leave. I promised myself next time I’m in Seoul, I’d come back here. It truly felt like a lovely stay."
