Love the staff. Asked ckeaning lady for extra towels which she didnt have in her cart she went and got the extras for me. The only down was that there is no ice bucket in room, wine served warm at bar. And they close early. But there is a convience store right around corner to pickup snacks.😊 have to say Koreans are lovely very helpful even construction guy spoke perfect english to direct me were to get umbrealla on rainy day. Yes hotel has construction in front but not a henderance even for airport cab to drop me off. Coex is walking distance. Train on corner bus terminal within walking distance if not carrying big luggage. Excellent hotel value. Even at high cherry blossom season. Staff is english speaking. Bed super comfy. Greatly enjoyed my stay.

Construction going on around the hotel so it took more than an hour driving to find the parking entrance… Wish there were some sign.. Also you need to pay for using a phone even though it’s local call. It counts by a sec. Quite expensive..

Major roadworks outside on the main road so it was difficult catching taxis. This wasn't notified beforehand and our taxi had trouble getting us inside the hotel underground car park. Other than that, everything else was amazing.

Great hotel except the food
Overall good place to stay. But breakfast buffet was worst ive dealt with in comparison to similar hotel such as L7 hotel for example.

Smelly rooms, thin walls and lack of service
Disappointed with our stay at Shilla Stay Samsung. We stayed there previously a couple of years ago and enjoyed it enough to stay again. Unfortunately this time was much worse. When we checked in, the first room we were given had a very heavy cigarette smell, to the point it was incredible the cleaning crew even allowed the room to be given to a guest. We were then switched to a different room that was more acceptable. Unfortunately, the next day this second room also developed an issue with sewage smell permeating from the bathroom. We were then transferred to a THIRD room, which thankfully had no issues with smells from that point. Sadly, the people next door in this new room were very loud, talking and laughing until past 2am into the night. Not exactly Shilla’s fault, but when I called to complain, the front desk called back to say the guests next door were not answering their door when knocked, and that there was nothing more they could do besides offer us ear plugs. It is honestly appalling that they would allow guests to continue to bother other guests despite knowing there was a problem. It is sad, because my wife and I had a great stay there previously, but the service and cleanliness has gotten much worse.

A major construction right in front of the property. The constructuon crews start working at 4AM. It worke me up almost every morning. It is located on a prime location and less than 50 feets away from the subway. The visitors need to check if the construction is complete, otherwise it is not such a good price to stay.

Location very convenient as located opposite the Coex mall and next to a train station. However the lobby of the hotel is located on the 21st floor. Getting up and down the floors takes a long time. My room on the 19th floor was located next to the service/supplies room so very noisey early in the morning with the moving of trolleys. Heard every loud bang!

A massive construction is going on right in front of the hotel. Although they emailed me the situation when I booked, the situation is a lot worse than expected. Traffic around the hotel is terrible and noise. The lobby bar needs more staff as the guest are asked to order at the counter and collect for themselves. Given the price they charge, this is not a cheap fast food chain! Very disappointed. Also check-in reception area was a bit shabby as you can see their back office which was rather messy.

The hotelis new and very comfortable. Only set back is there is only one restaurant. I arrived at 8pm and wanted to dine at the restaurant but was rejected as it was fully booked. The next day, wanted to have a quick lunch but again rejected as it was fully booked! The hotel needs to give priority to hotel guest, especially for business travellers as we may not have food delivery app! Thie is very disappointing!
