"Our stay at The Parks Inn for two nights was really a treat. Lisa, the innkeeper, and her great staff, made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and have a pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were cozy. The bathroom had all the amenities we needed and had a wonderful rainfall shower head in the shower. The breakfasts were amazing with fresh fruit, hot coffee or tea, muffins, and several delicious egg dishes including a soufflé one morning and a poached presentation with ham and tomatoes the other. Both were beautifully cooked. I never did get logged on to the WiFi, but it’s available. I spent my time in a chaise lounge on the back lawn under the palm trees instead enjoying the peaceful setting amongst the citrus covered foothills. The Parks Inn is a great place to stay, for a night or a week. You’re right on the road to Sequoia National Park of course but you’re also close to Balch Park and Mineral King. Plus there’s Lake Kaweah just up the road for all kinds of water adventures. The nearby towns of Exeter, Woodlake and Three Rivers offers a variety of dinner options as well as more sightseeing opportunities. And when you come back after a full day of trekking and sightseeing you can enjoy a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub at The Parks Inn. So whether you stay a night, a weekend or a week you’re sure to enjoy your stay. And a note to seniors or anyone who has trouble with stairs: be sure to ask for a room on the first floor."
