"We had a fantastic stay at Vila Galé Braga and were genuinely impressed by how unique this hotel is. Set within a beautifully restored historic building, the property has a character and sense of history that really sets it apart from typical hotel experiences. Walking through the hotel feels like exploring a piece of history, while still enjoying all the conveniences you’d expect from a contemporary stay. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, and the overall atmosphere throughout the hotel was wonderful and inviting. The grounds and common areas offer plenty of space to unwind, adding to the sense that this is more than just a place to sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection and quality options. Overall, Vila Galé Braga offers a truly distinctive experience thanks to its setting and design. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different — a hotel stay with real character and charm. "

"Some parts of the room were in some rough shape (bathroom door not opening fully because was filled with water, some furniture had a lot of scratches) overall was a good stay, the staff was amazing, the Jacuzzi water was a lot below than the 34 degrees stated on the information board which ended up not being so pleasant as we expected "

"The room had the hot water shut off. The air conditioning vent was missing. Overall the experience of the room was terrible. The floor was filled with paint leftovers. Staff did not even suggested moving rooms."

"Lovely hotel. Fabulous housekeeping staff. Pedro at the front desk was exceptional. Would have been 5star but breakfast could have been better. While a delightful friendly young woman in the dining area she missed very simple things ie: burners either missing or not lit (cold eggs, sausage, peppers,) some tables not cleared, low on food stuffs (on multiple days. I hope it’s not punitive for her and more a learning opportunity as she was very personable."

"The hotel is very nice in a great walking location with great daily breakfast, dinner was delicious as well. The room was spotless and the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. Can’t wait until my return, this is my second trip staying here."

"A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay"
