"The room was not very clean. The bedding and towels were fine, but the floors and furniture were not clean. There was a coffee pot and cups but no coffee. Breakfast was ok, but some of eggs were gray."

"The engineering staff set the thermostat temperature to whatever they want. The thermostat in the room is operated by an occupancy sensor which does not detect any movement over night, resulting in resetting the temperature to whatever the engineering team set to! This was intended to save energy at the expense of the customer's convenience!! I had to wake up twice at night to make sure the sensor detected me and that my temperature setting is reactivated."

"The staff were super nice and helpful. The room is another story. I was in floor 8, the shower kept leaking the entire stay, the bathroom sink faucet leaked everything we used it. The chair looked like it was attacked by many cats. The bathroom didn’t have a lock."

"This is a perfect hotel. Everything is great: perfect location, excellent hotel amenities, excellent breakfast, wonderful ambiance at the hotel and spa courtyard, near five-star staff in terms of how accommodating and helpful they are even though it’s not a five-star hotel. I stayed here twice and made it a point to book early enough ahead the second time I needed to stay in Ladera Ranch so that I could guarantee a stay here. Love this place. The spa is insanely good!! Recommend. 10/10."

"Lovely surroundings leading into the hotel, pretty okay parking (no valet, $35 a night for self park in the structure with parking pass required, a short walk, clean and plentiful though), check-in was GREAT thanks to Luke who was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic and shared the right information about the property and was enthusiastically ready for questions.
