Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential! Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, although it was short we were pleasantly surprised with our room, breakfast menu and staff. We checked in late and the evening receptionist was really helpful with giving us advice around parking and checked up in promptly. We were able to order a drink before heading to the room. "Stayed for 2 nights on a golf break. Room very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good and golf course was in great condition. Golf clubhouse and pro shop were great with great service and good food and drink choice."

"Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"

"Good location, easy to find just off the M5 with a bus stop nearby for regular buses into the centre of Exeter - we went into the city for dinner. Friendly and knowledgeable staff on reception. The hotel is fairly new and is very clean with fresh and airy decoration. The room was spacious, but very hot. The AC didn't really seem to do a lot.
