We enjoyed a room with a sea view on the first floor but struggled to get our luggage up the stairs. The room was clean and comfortable with day bed, writing desk and single chair. Good size TV and mini fridge also with tea and coffee making facilities. The remote controlled window blinds were a nice touch.

Great place for kids

We had a great time as a family. The staffing was very kind and helpful. The location is beautiful, with convenient access to the beach via the Chine and there are lots of indoor and outdoor activities for the kids to do.

As a dog owner, we loved hiw dog friendly the hotel was. Lovely surroundings great staff, very clean, lovely swimming pool, the only downfall was the beds beside the pool were very hard, and we just couldn't sit on them for long, the beds in the grass area were comfortable. The rooms were very clean and spacious,.It was a great location, would definitely return

Overall Experience: My stay at the hotel was excellent. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided a warm welcome and professional service. We stayed overnight with kids. Staff were amazing, so friendly, the room was super clean and spacious for a family. The whole building has such a charm! Our kids loved the heated pool, the gardens (they had a mini golf field, giant check game on the floor and a kids play area) and the local pub was walking distance. The walk to the beach was so beautiful through the chine! Oh we had such an amazing time!

Dog friendly value for money in a great hotel.

Great value at the most dog friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!!! Lovely hotel in great grounds with free parking, good food and a short walk to the charming Shanklin old village and beach. Very friendly reception staff and restaurant staff. Will definitely come again if we’re back on IOW.
