"The room was clean which I appreciated and it was quiet in the room. There were some sketchy people hanging around the entrance and smoking for quite a while which was a little unsettling. Also the breakfast was pretty unimpressive but they did have a few options. The staff was helpful and polite and there was plenty of parking."

"Carter Caves Lodge was in a quiet rural setting, the buildings were nice but needed some love. The staff was excellent and very kind showing the true spirit of the people of Kentucky. The “amenities” are the beautiful elements of nature that surround the lodge. Hiking, camping, horseback riding and more. The lodge food as well prepared and the staff was welcoming. I definitely recommend this hidden gem."
