After reading reviews we didn't know what we were getting into. BUT we were pleasantly surprised! Our room was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. The hallway getting to the room was outdated but who cares? The shower in our room was probably the best hotel shower we've ever had! We will stay here again! Great location too!

We have often stayed at this property because it is relatively inexpensive and close to Road America. The hotel itself is in a safe area, plenty of driveable food and shopping options, and of course really close to the Lake. It's fine for a quick trip.

GREAT STAY FOR THE PRICE

Really good hotel for the price, ofcourse dont expect anything fancy but its worth it.. A lot of people outside for the most part just patrolling and there are also cameras in the premises... requires key card to enter the building for extra security, the room service is good which I will go leave a tip soon, they cleaned my room and made it nice ohh and cant forget about the coffee its pretty good

Conveniently located, easy check in. No one present at the desk when we returned and the door wasn't secured. We had a double queen room and the mattress was absolutely filthy! Appeared to be be blood stained, could have been growing mold and the headboard detached from the wall along with paint chips all over the wall. Truly looked like a crime scene. If it wasn't 4 a.m. when we returned and no one at the desk I would have demanded another room.

First thing we smelled exiting our car was weed. People smoking it inside their vehicle. Check in was smooth and quick. Upon entering our room, it smelled of urine. Bathroom floor was wet in the corner by toilet , which later was discovered by the shower curtain not keeping all the water inside the shower. There was a burn hole in the top comforter of the bed. Damage to back of bathroom door due to the door stopper being broke as well. Will never book this hotel ever again.

Anniversary get away gone wrong.

We checked in which was easy and seamless, but when we got to the room, the room had a nasty smell to it, the bed cover was not clean, I washed my hands and the water did not go down the sink. The floor and several medium size marks which looked like burn marks. I went and talked with the young lady after about 30 minutes in the room trying to decide of we were going to stay or figure out something else, we ended up talking with her, she showed me two other rooms that were equally as bad, she offered us a full refund, and we left. Definitely read the reviews before you stay. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.
