"Have stayed here several times before and it has always been a very good hotel in an excellent location. However, this time the breakfast has changed from being extremely good to poor. They claim it includes a bottomless buffet which is nothing more than basic cereal, coffee and tea and limited fruit. Very disappointed. In addition bottled water is no longer provided in the room. Seems like cost cutting."
The Inn on the Lake Hotel

"The hotel may state 3 stars but for me the lake view is 5 stars. The hotel may not be modern and the corridor is narrow, but having been in 3 star hotel chains, made me really appreciate this hotel more. The staff were so friendly and professional. Don't often see people smiling while they work and all too ready to assist. The hotel was very clean. The family room is spacious and the images of the online lake room which I was impressed by, did not do justice to the lake views when I entered the room. Bought an instant smile to all the family. We used the disabled parking which is next to the reception and there are lifts. Very relaxing just sitting outside by the lakes. Breakfast was nice. Afternoon tea was lovely. Unfortunately didn't get the chance to try the spa options. The location of the hotel is ideal in between Bluewater and Rochester. Promised myself to come back."

"Nice modern decor. Our room had the weirdest shower set up though. Had to exit shower to turn on/off water and adjust temperature. Water was everywhere on the bathroom floor as a result. Other than that it was a very good stay"

"We stayed overnight so we could get down to Dover. The place was lovely, really clean. Everything we needed for the overnight stay. The complimentary breakfast had a good range and it was early enough for us to get something before we had to leave to get the ferry. Thank you for a lovely comfortable night’s stay."

"This was my second stay and it was as excellent as the first. The Receptionist was extremely helpful and even remembered me from last time. The hotel is in a great location for Brands Hatch which is only 15 minutes away. The Pub and Restaurant next door has really good food and a nice atmosphere. The room and bathroom was immaculately clean and tidy and is a good size. It has a really comfy bed too. The heating was great which was most welcome with the awful cold weather! I can't fault it and I highly recommend it. I will certainly stay again."

"The staff were friendly, advised of amenities available (which we didn’t use, due to time constraints). Were told about how to get in out of hours (10pm-7am). Room clean, spacious, no issues. Excellent value for money."
